Asset Library

Uploading, managing, and using your media library for images, videos, and brand assets

What Is the Asset Library?

The Asset Library is your central repository for images, videos, documents, and brand assets. Assets you upload here are available to Command and your AI agent.

Uploading Assets

Via the Portal

  1. Open Assets from the sidebar
  2. Click Upload or drag and drop files
  3. Add metadata (title, description, tags) for easier searching
  4. Assets are stored and immediately available

Via Command

Attach files directly in a Command conversation:

  • Drag a file into the message box
  • Or upload to your Asset Library first and reference it by name

Files attached in Command are automatically saved to your Asset Library. You can reference them later without re-uploading.

Organizing Assets

Image Sessions

Image sessions group related assets together — useful for design projects, campaign assets, or before/after comparisons.

Folders

Organize assets into folders by category, project, or date.

Using Assets with Command

Command can reference your assets in operations:

  • "Use the logo from our asset library on the About page"
  • "Upload this PDF to the media library"
  • "Replace the hero image with [asset name]"

When you attach a file in Command, it gets an assetRef — a reference ID that Command uses to pass the file to tools like WordPress media upload.

Asset Access

Who Can See Your AssetsAccess Level
YouFull access — upload, view, download
Other User/Client accountsNo access — strict isolation

Assets you upload are private to your account. Only you and Affinity Design's infrastructure team (for platform reliability) can access them.

Google Drive Sync

If Google Drive integration is enabled, assets can sync between your Drive and the Asset Library. See Your Account & Settings for setup instructions.
